Riverfolk will NOT be back at Charlie's this weekend, but...

Riverfolk Friends and Fans

We had a great time playing at Charlie’s Pub in Stillwater last month. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning there this coming weekend (Feb 17 & 18) as announced. This show was booked through a third party and there was some miscommunication.

As I said, we had a great time. Two four-hour shows was quite the test for my voice. It held up fine and I shed any remaining doubts I had about my recovery. Turnout was good. It was great seeing so many familiar faces and we made some new friends as well. We had a lot of fun with the audience and I believe the audience had a good time too. A typical Riverfolk show.

Our next couple of shows are listed below. Some of the publicity for the Bluegrass Winter Weekend has the music starting at 7 PM while some has it at 6:45. I’ll track down the correct time and update the website.

The website now lists several confirmed and tentative shows over the next few months. I’ll be keeping this as current as I can. So check it out at: www.riverfolk.net

The website lists several house concerts beginning with the one below on March 25. We really enjoy doing house concerts. The interaction allowed by the closeness to the audience makes these quite the event. If you would like some help and information on putting one together in your area, please contact us.

I’ll be back soon.
Thanks for listening,
Chas
